Reverse reads: "CANADA DOLLAR 1876-1976" and shows an image of the Library of Parliament

DID YOU KNOW? The Canadian Library of Parliament in Ottawa is not just an attractive building, but more importantly for our heritage, it was the only part of the original centre block of the Parliament Buildings that was saved during the disastrous fire of 1916.

This silver coin comes packaged in a handsome leatherette clamshell case with white cardstock sleeve.  Some sleeves show a bit of wear and could have hand-written notes left by previous owner. This uncirculated coin is encased in a clear plastic capsule, keeping it in mint condition. Note that the coin may be toned, due it's age and silver content.
