Sail Clock

For the sailor or the design lover, this stylized desk clock fits the bill.  We cut two steel sails, give them a sanded finish to a bright silver coloring, then weld them to a sturdy base.  The sails are flared to allow a clock movement to be inserted between them. Four small holes in the clock face act as time markings. The sails stand approximately 12'' tall x 6" wide. The clock movement is AA battery operated (battery not included). This item looks great front and back so suitable for a desk. Clock ships in a sturdy corrugated box, suitable for reshipping or gift wrapping.

This piece is sealed with a clear, rust-resistant coating. Like fine furniture, care should be taken not to scratch or damage the finish, as this could expose the metal to oxidation. We recommend that this piece only be used in climate-controlled indoor settings.
