1975 Canadian Silver Dollar Coin - Calgary Centennial
Don't miss out on a wonderful memento of Canada's rich history with this 1975 one dollar silver coin. The Royal Canadian Mint issued this coin that commemorates the centennial celebration of the founding of Calgary, Alberta.
Obverse reads: "ELIZABETH II D.G. REGINA" with right facing portrait of Queen Elizabeth II
Reverse reads: "CANADA DOLLAR, DDP, B, 1875 CALGARY 1975" with an image of a cowboy on a bucking bronco. Oil wells and a modern city skyline appear in the background.
This silver coin comes packaged in a handsome leatherette clamshell case with white cardstock sleeve. Some sleeves show a bit of wear and could have hand-written notes left by previous owner. This uncirculated coin is encased in a clear plastic capsule, keeping it in mint condition. Note that the coin may be toned, due it's age and silver content.
